Elizabeth Quay in the news

Built-in vacume will help Elizabeth Quay suck more

The Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority and the City of Perth are considering a system that would install large pneumatic chutes in buildings and underground to suck garbage into a large collection area for dumping.

The system is said to suck garbage at speeds of up to 80KM/h which in light of the Elizabeth Quay development will make it the fastest way to travel around Perth city.
